What must I do to be Saved? I must offer up my Mind and Body to Jesus everyday thanking Him for my Salvation and submitting My willful ego to Him --- to allow Him to let me be His Avatar.

This is Dr. Rock and the NewChristMan Band’s new song called: “WHAT MUST I DO ~ To be Saved-!” The setting is an image of Paul and Silas singing praises to God in prison when they are set free by a violent earthquake: "About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose” (Acts 16:16-40).

This song “What must I do to be saved?” Was inspired by the biblical account of Paul and Silas in Acts 16:16-40, specifically focusing on the jailer’s question, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And the reply, “Put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.” The song emphasizes believing in Jesus Christ as the primary way to be saved ~ Salvation through Faith. JOY & PRAYER ~ It encourages believers to be filled with joy, rejoice in the Lord, and pray about ALL things while thanking God for everything. The “AVATAR” Concept: The Bible defines the path to Salvation as offering up one’s Mind and Body to Jesus daily and submitting one’s willful ego to allow Jesus to live through them, described as being His “Avatar.” Being an “Avatar” for Jesus is defined as the spiritual practice of surrendering the self (Old Man) to Christ daily. Offering our Mind and Body to Jesus every day allows Jesus to live and work through you. This is “The WAY” to thank Jesus for salvation and to allow one’s life to be a vessel for His presence.
