“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them” (Ez. 36:26-27)

Many throughout the Bible have been "touched" by God's Holy Spirit. The Apostle Paul called this being "filled with the Holy Spirit." When this happens to you, you are essentially putting-on your "Higher-Christ-Self" (New Man) to "walk in the Spirit." Pray for wisdom and revelation.

THE OLD COVENANT’S ~ Outpouring of the HOLY Spirit-!

“I wish that ALL the LORD’s people were Prophets and that the LORD would put his Spirit on Them!” (Num. 11:29)

In essence, Moses was predicting the New Covenant while the Old Covenant was still in effect: “The Lord your GOD will Circumcise your Hearts and the Hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live” (Deut. 30:6). Moses was not the only prophet that predicted that God would pour out His Spirit upon all men —to circumcise their hearts, forgive their sins, and restore their fellowship with Him. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Joel all predicted GOD’s promised New Man Covenant.

THE NEW COVENANT’S ~ Outpouring of the HOLY Spirit-!

“In the Last Days, GOD says, I will POUR OUT my Spirit on all people … Even on my servants, both men, and women, I will POUR OUT my Spirit in those days, and they will Prophesy” (Acts 2:17-18)

The anticipation of the New Covenant’s Outpouring of the HOLY Spirit was a key aspect of the prophetic tradition. The Old Testament prophet Joel (835 to 796 B.C.) envisioned a time when the Holy Spirit would pour God’s Spirit upon the earth to ALL men. This is the beginning of the New Covenant or Church Age. Joel predicted that God would make His Spirit available to every believer —not just the prophets, priests, and kings that GOD —chose to serve Him, like in the Old Covenant. Joel and others like Isaiah and Ezekiel predicted the first ‘Alien Invasion of the HOLY Ghost’ on planet Earth that birthed the Early Church of Jesus Christ: Isaiah prophesied: “I will POUR OUT my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants” (Is. 44:3). Ezekiel prophesied, “I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws” (Ez. 36:27). Jesus told his disciples that after he had ascended into Heaven, he would send the Holy Ghost (The Third Godhead of the Trinity) to invade planet Earth and regenerate the hearts and minds of the Apostles and disciples of Christ to preach the Good News. Jesus said, “Do not leave Jerusalem but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Ghost” (Acts 1:4-5). These Early Christians were the first to be baptized by the fire of the Holy Ghost: “But you will receive power when the Holy Ghost comes on you ...” (Acts 1:8). This power of the Holy Spirit is transformative, inspiring hope and faith in all believers.

In the book of Acts (History of the Early Church), we see the Apostle Peter declared to the amazed and perplexed crowd that this first “outpouring of the Holy Spirit” was not the result of some men drunk on wine but was a fulfillment of Joel’s prophecy: “And afterward, I will POUR OUT my Spirit on ALL people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions” (Joel 2:2). The book of Acts describes three (3) “outpourings” of the Holy Spirit.
