“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mk. 11:24)

This spiritual song is centers on the biblical promise found in Mark 11:24. It emphasizes the power of Faith and declares that the Holy Sacraments of Baptism, Communion, and Chrismation (Anointing with Holy Oil) are NOT symbolic rituals, but miracles of GOD that transform the unbeliever into the New Creature in-Christ. Baptism, Communion and Chrismation are the miraculous transformations, supernatural works of God, but Only if we believe in their power to change us.

These Holy Sacraments are the essential means by which GOD imparts His Grace and enables believers to partake in His divine nature. DrRock poses a thought-provoking question, suggesting that a lack of belief in the miraculous nature of these Sacraments is the primary factor in the decline of church attendance among the 40 million Americans (and those around the world) that left the church over the last 25 years.

Jesus said, “Whatever a person asks for in prayer, if they believe that they have already received it, it will be theirs” (Mk. 11:24). The first thing an unbeliever prays for is to be changed. According to the Bible, the creation of the “New Creature in-Christ” occurs ONLY through the Holy Sacraments of Baptism, Communion, and Conformation. Jesus said, if we pray and believe that we have already received, than GOD answers our prayer. So, if we pray for our Old Self to be crucified with Christ in Baptism, than we have resurrected with Christ and have been born again into our Higher-Christ-Self.

This First Resurrection (Rev. 20:5-6) is the spiritual event that occurs in the hearts and minds of believers at the moment of salvation. This present Church Age is the ‘Millennium,’ a time where believers act as Priests of GOD and reign with Christ in their hearts and minds between Christ’ First and Second Comings. New Man Bible Theology emphasizes the command to “Put Off the Old Man” (one’s former self ruled by sin) and “Put On the New Man,” a transformation facilitated by the participation in the Holy Sacraments of Baptism, Communion, and Chrismation (Eph. 4:22-24).

In the New Testament, the greatest miracle is the resurrection of Jesus, the event central to Christian faith. So, would’t the physical resurrection of Jesus’ followers also be considered miracles? What about the “spiritual resurrection” of all believers who participate with GOD’s work in the mysterious of the Holy Sacraments of Baptism, Conformation (Chrismation), and Communion.

New Man Bible Theology teaches that the First Resurrection (Rev. 20:5-6) is “Spiritual” in our hearts at Salvation and that the Millennium (the present Church Age) is our reign with Christ between his First and Second Comings. During this time, we are priests of God because Christ reigns in our hearts and minds as our Lord and Savior. In this view, the Second Resurrection is the bodily resurrection of the evil for judgement at the end of the Church Age. Those involved in the First Resurrection are described as "blessed and holy," and they will reign with Christ for a thousand years, while the second death has no power over them (Rev. 20:6).
