My Testimony-! In the summer of 1975, I enlisted in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War. Although I was raised in the Catholic Church —I had my first “Spiritual Experience” with Jesus in the summer of 1977, when I was 21-years-old. I remember that I had broken up with my girlfriend, who was in the Navy. I was feeling pretty depressed, so I went out for a few drinks at a local ‘stripper bar’ called “Little Egypts” in Waipahu. The bartender, started talking about all the problems in the world and said that —JESUS was coming back. I never heard that part.
Then, a young, attractive dancer started sharing how Jesus had changed her life. I was only sipping a wine cooler, but I heard a voice (I don’t know if it was inside) say - “Listen to them —they are telling you the truth.” This was the first time I felt a spiritual presence, which I now understand as my ‘Higher Christ-Self’ —speaking to me. All I remember then is that I left the bar and went home and started crying hard (I never cry). With tears, I just kept telling GOD that I was sorry. I can not express how emotionally dark and depressed I was feeling being separated from GOD. I felt naked, helpless, hopeless, and worthless before the “Living GOD.” So, I kept asking Jesus for forgiveness.
When I woke up, I had no idea that my ‘inner self’ had changed forever. I felt spiritually clean. I felt a profound sense of belonging and connection with God, which I had never experienced before. I remember walking and seeing birds, trees, and flowers, but for the first time — I felt I was a part of God’s nature —not separate from everything that he created. It felt like someone else was inside me, looking through my eyes and appreciating God’s creation. This profound sense of unity with God and his creation was a paradigm shift in how I saw and interacted with the world and others. That day changed everything.
To fully receive the "Heavenly Blessings" of all NewChristMan songs, in this divine Rock ‘Christian’ Opera, it is 'highly; recommended that you 'Put-On' your New 'Christ' WOMAN / Man (before listening), by first being "in the Spirit" through --prayer, fasting, meditation, and/ or by taking the "Blessed (Happy) Sacraments” —Holy bread, wine, oil, and incense. You must deny yourself, and consider your ‘Ego’ (Old Self) with all of it’s self-critical thinking —TO BE “spiritually” DEAD with Christ on the Cross. Then, you can “renew the Spirit of your “unconscious’ Mind” to fully surrender to the Holy Spirit —to Put-On your Higher-Christ-Self.
'Testimony' is a story (told with songs) of the divine-human spirit being set free to glorify the Most High GOD. These are my Testimony Songs. Most were written in the 70's during the Jesus Revolution and revived recently with New Songs. They were all recently recorded "LIVE" when I was "in the Spirit" --in my home, with just the minimal equipment necessary (I-phone, Laptop, & mostly just an acoustic guitar). I learned these songs "in the HOLY Spirit" and recorded them immediately. They have been "Spiritual food" for my Soul and I pray they will be a blessing for you.
